As many will undoubtedly be aware our beloved president Kerry ‘Maestro’ Holmes passed away at 2.00 pm on Saturday 19-07-2014.
Our thoughts are with Judith and the family during this difficult time.
Kerry was an amazing man and the heart and soul of our club. His influence as president, coach, mentor, lifetime member and friend, for some may for some have been minimal but for most has been significant.
He will be deeply missed both on and off the water and a group paddle in his honor will be scheduled in due course. Past and present members shall all be invited to attend.
Funeral details are below and all WECC members are invited to celebrate the life of Maestro. Please ensure you wear your black caps as a mark of solidarity and respect.
