“The Estimator- February 2016”
On the second Saturday of February , the 13th, club members are invited to compete in our first 2016 FUN time- trial against the clock called “The Estimator”.
Upon arrival at the club, members receive an estimate of their expected finish time (determined by previous results). From 6:30am the first club members commence paddling (or racing) in a staggered, handicap start from the West End Canoe Club flag pole to the South Brisbane Railway Bridge and return (app 5km). The winner is the person who betters their personal best previous time by the greatest margin. All crafts and all abilities welcome.
So… see you at club by 6:20am for mandatory pre-race safety briefing.
